Goldhanger Past filing cabinet...   books, booklets, papers, etc.

The local history 4-draw filing cabinet has been in the village since at least the 1980s and has been stored in several locations over that time. It is currently held by DN and is almost full. The top draw also contains a memory stick with a recent copy of the Digital Archive.

The Maura Benham and Chris Thorby collection of local history books, booklets and notes are held in a separate storage box close to the filing cabinet.

A collection of local history related books are held in a bookcase in the house. Search for: [DN] in the Virtual Library. These actual books (currently 17) where mainly purchased but a few were donated and all should be considered part of the local history collection and it is suggested that they are made available to whoever kindly decides to inherit the local history filing cabinet.
