Goldhanger Past filing cabinet...   books, booklets, papers, etc.

A local history four-draw filing cabinet has been in the village since at least the 1980s and has been stored in several locations during that time. It is currently held by DN and is virtually full.

The Maura Benham and Chris Thorby collection of local history books, booklets and notes are held in a separate storage box close to the filing cabinet.

A collection of local history related books are held in a bookcase in the house. Search for: [DN] in the Virtual Library. These actual books (currently 17) should be considered part of the local history collection and it is suggested that they are made available to whoever kindly decides to inherit the local history filing cabinet.
